About The Bassist
Bart began playing bass in his late teens, experienced a long hiatus after college, and picked it up again in his
30’s. He has been in a number of bands, co-founding River Jack in 2004 and remaining with that band until October of 2010, and has played
in blues, wedding, faux metal, and rock projects of different types. He is also involved in Christian Rock projects.
In time he hopes
to learn keyboard and bagpipes. Bart has cited Ray Brown, Willie Dixon, Donald “Duck” Dunn, James Jamerson, Billy Cox, Dave Brown,
Chris Squire, Glenn Cornick, Mike Watt, Greg Norton, and Andy Roarke as among the many bassists he admires.
Nora utilizes her Classical Vocal Training and blends it with her favorite influences: Steve Perry, Pat Benatar, and
Ann Wilson. She expands the group's dynamic musical range with her strong stage presence, percussion, and vocal phrasing.
Mark hails from Shelton and is the founder of the band. He has developed a solid reputation as a percussionist with
area groups like Kinetic Sect, Ulterior Motive, and Theravada. He also instructs percussion at the university level. Dynamic and precise
percussion with progressive
song writing has Mark rounding out the group's diverse background.
